FOLKLORE AND CULTURE
Discover the thousand colors of Naples

DAY 1 - BEHIND THE CORNER
A selection of places not to be missed, just around the corner from the Fiorentini Residence.
Whether you are in Naples for vacation or work, in the immediate vicinity of the Fiorentini Residence you already have some places not to be missed. Among these, really 'around the corner' we would like to point out a few, for a first Neapolitan walk. Starting from the nearby Via Toledo (with the Metrò dell’Arte stop of the same name and its evocative interiors), the historic and monumental buildings, the Spanish Quarters, now redeveloped, the Umberto I Gallery and the Gran Caffé Gambrinus. Then discover Piazza del Plebiscito and its eight rulers depicted along the facade of the Royal Palace, the San Carlo Theater, down to Castel Nuovo (known as Maschio Angioino), or from the square you can go down to the seafront and Castel Dell'Ovo in the charming Borgo Marinari.

DAY 2 - A WALK IN THE CENTER
Crossing through the infamous Spaccanapoli you will discover places of rare beauty.
With the subway, Dante stop, you can reach Spaccanapoli, the road that goes from the Spanish Quarters to the Forcella district, cutting the ancient city in a straight line. You will understand better why it is called this way if you look at it from San Martino, on the Vomero hill (just take one of the nearby funiculars). From San Gregorio Armeno to the Monastery of Santa Chiara, from the 'Madonna with the gun', the only certain work by Banksy in Italy to the 'Seven Works of Mercy by Caravaggio, in the Church of Pio Monte della Misericordia, up to the Sansevero Chapel and the Hospital delle Bambole, will be a walk through history, culture and folklore in the historic heart of the city.

DAY 2 - OUT OF DOOR OPTION
The unmissable excavations of Pompeii represent a unique opportunity to discover the ancient history of this millenary land.
If you are a walking lover and passionate about our history, we suggest you opt for a day dedicated to visiting the ruins of Pompeii, a unique site in the world, which you cannot miss. In addition to the numerous associations that organize guided tours, the Ferrovie dello Stato periodically also make available the 'Archeotreno Campania', that is historical carriages between Naples and Pompeii. An alternative way to travel and discover our past. It is essential to go equipped with comfortable clothing, suitable for the temperatures, sneakers, sun protection for the skin and eyes, hat, water and a camera.

DAY 3 - THE OBLIQUE CITY
Between stairs, alleys, pedestals and funiculars, experience the thrill of exploring Naples … vertically!
The third day can be dedicated to the discovery of the hilly areas of Naples. From Capodimonte (with the spectacular Museum and Park of the same name) to Posillipo (the residential district with breathtaking views and fiery sunsets over Ischia and Procida and Nisida), to Vomero (the district where you can alternate shopping, visits to Sant'Elmo and San Martino with a view on Spaccanapoli and Vesuvius). The City Sightseeing Naples offers the possibility to buy various packages that include the ascent and descent just to connect these beauties and give you the opportunity to enjoy every moment without worries.
